Day 88 of Wonder
The sky lay out before us in sweeping colours of grey with patches of blue and white. Our eyes squinted to see the horizon, a distant blue haze. Every turn provided a new vista, a new horizon, a new play of field and forest and vineyard laid out like a tapestry at our feet. And yet, it was this little small, lively plant that captivated me with its new life. All else was ancient, settled, vast and awe-inspiring in a different way. This burgeoning plant pulsed with vitality and life. Perhaps it isn't always the grand things that stop us in our tracks, sometimes it's the smallest of things, coming to life. A metaphor for my own life at the moment.
