Day 119 of Wonder

I've tried to hold myself back from going snap happy in front of all these stupendous fruit trees in bloom. Only five minutes earlier I had photographed a tree in full bloom with the flowers filling every space available. Luscious and stunning. But this late bloomer captured my focus for just that little bit longer. It's on the cusp, between what is was and what it will be. Despite the crazy weather, these delicate buds are risking their success or failure on a moment chosen well. Nature risks everything based on it's adaptability and process. An astounding combination that has been proven to succeed for longer than we can imagine. Truly wonder-ful.
