Day 144 of Wonder

A couple of days of rain and this scrubby plant has shot up from the ground to a metre in swaying height. Totally amazing with its thistle like leaves and buds that look like Russian Orthodox steeples. I can almost imagine these unfurling to reveal a tiny fairy home with Tinkerbell asleep on her bed. Magical.
