Day 167 of Wonder

I have the amazing privilege to live in this old building of sandstone but frequently don't see what's right in front of my eyes. These lavender plants have been showing off their gorgeous colours for several weeks and today I finally 'saw' them. Despite the persistent rain and cloudy overcast day the colours are mesmerising. This plant is one of the true marvels of nature in my book.
