Day 189 of Wonder

I don't often get the chance to do this walk. Within a minute the sounds of traffic have faded to a far distant echo and the intensity of the forest takes over. I'm following a trail here that trundles over tree roots, expands into an open grassland and eventually narrows into a bramble swathed path. When your eyes on not on the path directly in front the variations of scene constantly elicit a 'wow' exclamation. Love this forest.
