Day 194 of Wonder

This route is so familiar to me I started to wonder if I would see anything new or wonderful for the next couple of months. I was totally wrong. Between house and field this amazing flowering succulent took my breath away. After a couple of iffy months where summer felt like a distant idea, we've finally encountered the heat. And with the heat, stunning new flower varieties bursting forth. When you are always ready to be surprised and awed, you will never not be.
