Day 223 of Wonder

It's August and I found these few leaves already starting their journey towards autumn. Seeing the colour fade and sections already taking up a rich red hue, as if burnt by the sun, is quite extraordinary. Usually I watch the changing colours from a distance, as if it happens from one day to the next and yet this is a slowed down personal version. One leaf at a time. Amazing.
