Day 248 of Wonder
Contrasting shapes, textures and colours caught my eye today just before the sounds of a small deer scurrying to safety caught the imagination of Hiro. Suddenly my attention was drawn from wonder to full alert. Hiro's attention had been gained as well and it took my deep throaty booming voice echoing through the forest to bring him back from taking chase. These kinds of interludes are not uncommon and can have the tendency to throw me completely off my moments of wonder. What I do remember clearly however, is that the image captured here took me out of the everyday into a moment of wonder. So even if just for a moment, I felt wonder.
