Day 256 of Wonder

A rather confused crocus pushing its way into the light. I've seen numerous examples of these early spring flowers poking their heads up this month. September is hardly the time for them. Still, their bright colour and energy are a surprising addition to these late summer, early autumn days. Brave souls.
