Day 283 of Wonder

October is a strange month. Summer is over but winter has not taken hold. Not yet. Colours are muted greens with random splotches of colour. These berries might have been overlooked on a summer's day, but today they jumped out of the surrounding foliage to say hello. Edible or not they hint at something sumptuous.
