Day 291 of Wonder

The colours in nature are truly amazing. Autumn has its own special blend. These little berries are splitting open to reveal a gorgeous orange. Another stop-me-in-my-tracks moment. Apparently it's called the Spindle berry, a popular feed for birds especially the Robin. In Germany it is also called the Rotkehlchenbrot (Robin's bread).
